I’m surprised we even exist. 저는 지금 저희가 존재한다는 것 자체가 놀라워요.

surprising = surprise 하는 = 놀라게 하는 = 놀라운
surprised = surprise 당한 = 놀라게 된 = 놀란
I’m surprising! 난 놀라워!
I’m surprised! 나 놀랐어!
It’s boring. 그건 지루해.
I’m boring. 난 지루한 사람이야.
I’m bored. 나 심심해.

→ 단 하나 뿐인, 특정한 드래곤을 뜻함
I was talking to a dragon.
→ 길 가다가 처음보는 불특정한 드래곤을 만나서 말을 걸었다는 뜻
This is the book. 이게 바로 그 책이야.
I need a pen. 나 펜이 필요해.
I need the pen. 나 그 펜이 필요해.
I saw a cat. 고양이 한 마리를 봤어.
I saw the cat. 나 어제 그 고양이 봤어.

neither / either
It’s not ready yet, and neither am I. 아직 노래가 준비 안 됐어. 나도 그렇고.

- too 는 긍정문에서 사용해요.
- 부정문에서는 either를 사용해요.
- neither = not + either
I’m not angry. 나 화 안 났어.
I’m not angry either. 나도 화 안 났어.
Neither am I. 나도 그래. (= 나도 화 안 났어)
Me neither. 나도. (= 나도 화 안 났어)
