Stop eating him alive!    그에게 그만 못되게 굴어!

People are eating this scientist alive.     사람들이 이 과학자를 혹독하게 비판하고 있어.

He was eaten alive by the pass.     그는 언론에서 혹독히 비판 당했다.

 

 

straight : 똑바로, 일직선으로, 곧바로, 곧장

I went straight to bed when i got home.   나는 집에 도착하자마자 잤어.
